The main goal of this site is to provide people with money-saving investment tips and ideas, and to analyze products or investment deals for those who are interested and need a second opinion or any advice. Since we have engineering backgrounds, and since we're up to date on gadget news and reviews, we figure we can help others find alternative hot deals for those products they are interested in.

Having lived in the Silicon Valley for so many years, we've seen many people buy electronic gadgets without a care as to the price premiums they pay; just to have the top of line model. Many of those purchases are just impulse buys. We here @ HDA were once victims as well. People do analyze and think before they buy but most people just do not have that much time to research and do not know of any channels, connections or access to those top notch deal advisors out there. And therefore, we created this site to help everyone get the best deals for our hard-earned money.

We often refer to well known gadget review sources and news sites such as cnet, engadget, and Gizmodo. Also, in order to search for good deals out there, we tend to use the ever popular slickdeals.net and fatwallet.com
